Nothing feels funky while riding through all the gears.

other than being in desperate need of a full bleed, its fine.

Are there rebuild kits or would it be better to just buy a new or slightly used brembo MC. What's the size of these clutch MC's so I can search around? Anyone got one laying around? Thanks!

Just flush and bleed, no need to rebuild or replace.

was literally just bled by Houston super bikes two weeks ago. Every time it gets bled the fluid looks terrible the next week. Not sure why. I think it's the tank that makes it look worse than it is. Tech told me that it shouldn't bubble up like that in the tank though.

you might have a bad bearing on your clutch pressure plate that is forcing your push rod to spin and cooking your fluid.

in no way is your clutch fluid supposed to be ink black and 3/4 full after being bled a week ago. I would go right back to the service dept. and show them what it looks like.

no, it totally should.  when you actuate the lever it cycles fluid in and out of the reservoir.  if you have the cap off and you pull the lever quick enough it will shoot across the garage.

I replace the bearing on my pressure plate with a brand new one when I bought a used pressure plate. The only thing I can think would be if the push rod that the slave moves is bent. could that cause it. If it's bent it would spin right?

Ducati released an updated push rod that had a locating pin to prevent spinning.  unless you have that it will always spin to some degree.  a bent one wouldn't necessarily spin because it would jam up the slave and you would feel the clutch drag.

Besides having the the shop that did the bleed take another look at the bike (do this before buying any parts!!), I would looking into getting the updated push rod with either the new OEM clutch slave that is designed to accept it (Ducati offers this as a kit) or do the clutch push rod with a new Oberon slave that can also accommodate that push rod.

I have an aftermarket slave on there not sure which one though. I'll feel the bearing I installed again. I don't see the need to drop money on a updated slave and rod. Updated or not. It shouldn't burn out fluid that quick.

Got a new push rod installed. Bearing on PP is good. Did my best poor mans bleed off the slave bleeder valve. Have zero air in the line off the valve and it's dying right when I drop into 1st. One of the o rings on the push rod did break so I only have one o ring on the new rod. Not sure its relevance to the situation though. Messed with the adjustment on the MC and re bled. Same thing. Swapped old rod in, same thing. I have no bleeder at the control. Would cracking the banjo help? HELP!!!

How far does the pressure plate move when you pull the lever to the bar?
