Hello!

I was wondering if anyone experienced this weird issue I had today...

Rode back from the shop today (brake pad change) and had no issues. I adjusted some barends then went on a second ride and noticed the clutch was slipping significantly (above 3000rpm on any gear would cause the RPM to shoot-up without acceleration). I couldn't go faster than 60km/hr..

Later tonight I tried to ride it again and now the clutch won't engage AT ALL. I can idle in any gear with the clutch out and the engine won't stall - in fact, I can see my dry clutch pressure plate not spinning at all.

My last clutch replacement (to Barrett kit) was last year (6000km ago). Could the plates have worn out already? Or is there something wrong with the hydraulic system? I've never bled the clutch before..

Thanks for any help!

Barnett plates are... [puke]

There is no real savings in using them as you've learned the hard way. Get yourself a stock clutch pack.

Can I use stock plates with the Barnett basket or do I have switch back to a stock basket?

Thanks for your response!
