BTW for the purists out there:  The photo is of Miguel Galluzzi's original Monster.  This is THE bike that prototyped *all* Monsters.  If there was a serial number on this one, it's '000000'.

I've seen it in person.  It's stunning.  The footpegs are machined out of billet.  The oil cooler is inverted from the SS of the time.  It's wearing the original tires.  Miguel loves this bike.

Yeah different pipes and half painted over carbon front guard, no ugly breather pods. Extra carbon. Just beautiful.

Yeah, that's it, it's got the subframe bracket on top of the tube, just above the rear motor mount, like the 851/888.

The side covers and seat cowl have shapes that are distinctly different from the production bits.

Tank looks smaller too.
