Hey guys,
As mentioned I'm based in San Francisco. Have been riding on and off for ~20 years since I started racing motocross at the age of 9. Have lived in the Bay Area now for 3+ years and purchased a 2007 Ducati S2R800 about 1.5 years ago. I found it with ~300 miles on the odometer and it had been garage kept.
I'm currently laid up for several months after tearing my achilles playing basketball, so thought it would be the perfect time to introduce myself and start getting involved on this msg board. Also had a neighbor who backed into the bike a couple months ago and bent some things (got the insurance money but decided to hold off and do repairs myself instead of replacing with more OEM parts).
I'll certainly be looking for advice and how-to's in the coming months as I start upgrading the bike, but in the meantime wanted to say hi and see if there are many others from the Bay Area on these boards
Btw here's a pic of my bike from a roadtrip down to Big Sur and Carmel last year.
