Hi there! I have always known the kind of dashboards which have the 2 big adaptors and inside 2 bolts, the one's with 2 kind of "legs"... recently my dash broke so I bought a used one that has 3 bolts on the back, it's flat and has no "legs" like my old one... how do I put it on my upper¿? thanks in advance  [bow_down]

sorry , my bad: this one:

No "legs"... just 3 screws with anti-shock rubbers...

I could be wrong, but that's not a Monster dash....

Is there a part number on it?

Maybe it'll work - I have no idea - plug it in and see?

If it works, you might be able to make a bracket and bolt it on your top triple/steering head.

Sold as a combo from Ed Millich and pulled from a 620ie running... so this is more like a SS dash right?

Could be from an SS.

So you have the ECU and ignition/key unit as well?

Yes, that's an SS dash.

The works can very likely be swapped into your Monster housing.
Just did the same thing a few days ago.

Wish I could swap... I sold mine complete a couple of years ago...  :( I had my dash inside a plastic cover I made  :P anyway what does an SS mount look like? Maybe I cold mod it to have a real "monster"  [popcorn]

Google the part number  [thumbsup]

Check the parts catalog for an SS - at Ducati.com -> dealers and services -> spare parts

The SS mount is a large welded tube structure, holds the dash, headlight, front fairing, mirrors, and a few electrical bits.
It bolts to the frame via brackets that the SS frame has, and your Monster does not.

You could make a fairly simple bracket that picks up the headlight mounts and the the monster gauge mounts.

Assuming you can make/mod a mount for it... how will you deal with the ECU which is not programmed from your bike? Do you have someone who can reflash the ECU and remove the immobolizer?

just curious as I have a similar era dash with a non functioning tacho that I want to replace.
