You mean this one?

Quote
Most lusted after motorcycle of its time, and the predecessor to what Casey Stoner used on Friday to set the fastest lap ever for a motorcycle at the Laguna Seca Raceway in Monterey, Ca. New, 18 miles on the odo. Rosso Corsa red, with factory race exhaust and chip installed, comes with a host of Ducati Performance accessories. With 200 rear wheel hp and a highly tunable chassis this bike is not only amazing to look at but will be an amazing performer. Features: V4 engine with 'big bang' firing order, race exhaust, forged magnesium wheels, carbon fiber body work, Dunlop DOT double compound tires, on board computer and interface USB, digital display, top spec Ohlins suspension components. Comes with stand, cover, battery tender and other items plus all stock exhaust parts and a transferable warranty. I have a special gift for the buyer, a Ducati championshship flag of which I may have the only 1 in Houston. Priced to sell - compare if you can to top spec MV Agusta at $120k or Motoczyz prototype at $100k, neither of which have the current racing success that Ducati is recognized for. If you are interested and have the means to enjoy the Ducati D16RR give me a call and I can deliver to your door at no extra charge within the city of Houston. Cashier's check or direct bank deposit only.

I was just about to buy it, but I really don't like the font of the desmosedici lettering. Deal breaker...

I was just about to buy it, but even though it set the fastest lap record for a motorbike at Lauguna Seca it still got beat by a Yamaha.

Pwned.   Grin

No problem, FactorPlayer.
On a side note, didn't you post up pics of the McAllen Duc dealership on the old board?
Went down there during the July 4th weekend and stopped by the Rio Grande Valley Duc dealer.  The shop has moved from the old gasoline station to a white clapboard house.  Still has a kind of funky vibe to it.  A small but decent selection of ducati gear and accessories.  The owner says they may start carrying Aprilia's and Moto Guzzi's in the near future.

"cashiers check" or direct deposit only?  No balls, that guy......surely he should accept a "half now and let me pay it off in payments" on behalf of all us "poor" folks out here.

Enrique, the proprietor there, is a pretty cool guy.  but after my 6-week stay down there I haven't felt the need to go back lately, especially in this heat  drink

IZ mentioned something at Mings tonight that a Norweigian club pooled their money and bought a Desmosedici......for track days  waytogo

Only thing would be a). who would ride it first and b). who would pay the insurance deductable when it goes down when the first guy rides it.....

Chill and Red5 are more than experienced in polishing and cleaning, so that would not be a problem...it would always look real nice.....
