Hello ... from the shores of lake Michigan

New to the forum, 18 yrs old with 36 yrs experience. My First Ducati..09 M1100.  just bought it  with hopes that it will keep my mind off racing.  44 yrs in the saddle ... 42 yrs competing   mostly  observed trials and tt racing....lots of ice...a little sumo...and everything else. Cnc machinist...programmer ..welder ..painter  fix your own crap guy...and Dad. It been a long while since I've had a street bike..last were rz 350s..my dad was a cop so the roads were one big track.  Haven't ridden the bike yet... waiting on the title..had it about two weeks.... anxious...  choose this model because its the only bike I thought I might be able to keep myself amused with for  awhile. Don't really like street riding or at least long distance.... so hope this thing will  give me my "fix"...
