so duke made these bikes with the intent of having the ability to remove the tail without cutting anything. i assume. because to the best of my knowledge this is the first monster that allows you to do so. but have you seen the price of the kit they have? its about $250 usd. its almost like they are begging someone to make an after market one pronto. and i tell you what. the first person that actually does make one for the 696 for about $100 will get a sale from me.  (cookie?)
that being said. does anyone have a 696 with the tail eliminator on it? pics?

i think im going out to the carport and see what it might take to do this myself. it could require a trip to home depot later.

the sad bit is, i'd probably pay the 250 right now, but cannot find one for sale

Raux

the way i looks you just need to change out the bottom part and move the plate braket up by removing the top?

I can't find it....but I feel like someone from moto wheels was talking about how they had mocked one up and were almost ready to ship..did I dream this, or did anyone else see it?

i ordered the tail chop from ducati when i bought the 696 in march,
still no word as to when it might arrive....
:(

We have a mock up of a kit that will be very inexpensive.

We are also working on a very trick CF version-- that will not be inexpensive.

+1 -- On the list for the Ducati kit when they ship, but seems a little pricey.

+1 on the motowheels kit.  When do you think it will become available?
