k kiddies, here we go again. The bod just cant handle the aggressive posture of my SS. So Im going to make a monster
Start with 1 2001 900ssie

I am still looking for a tank, rearsets are ordered, and the SS I just a thing on a stand and bits in the corner, will need a power commander ect
should be fun, stay tuned
parts off both bikes will be listed in the parts for sale area

I wonder if you could run an external pump and filter using the old Monster tank? With stacks and pods you would have room. Mods to allow for return pressure would be a piece of cake with your skills.
The lines could be clamped up under the tank to a pump and filter clamped to the tank underside utilizing the space where the airbox was. You could weld custom clamps to fit efi pump and cheap auto filter making servicing easy. For example on a GSXR1000 we swapped the 200 buck oem internal filter for a 10 buck external filter from GM or Ford.
With the 900ie motor's hot oem cams, high comp pistons and a performance intake kit tuned with a PCV/III would make a strong bike.
Just a thought.

SO, wired, all parts dry fit and good. need to do some mod to get the verticle cylinder throttle body filter on. waiting on some parts. heres a perview

All the bits and pieces to make her run showed up, just in time for me to leave for another 2 weeks
rearsets rock, GPR exhaust, not so much, mid pipes are all effed, working on resolution with company at the moment
