Yea, i would like to go on this ride!

Anyone ever been on the road HWY 98 out of florisant? I was looking at the map and saw the route of HWY 98 out of florisant, then hit hwy 59 below 11 mile , then hwy 59 connects with hwy 9, and hwy 9 takes you to parksdale, then  Hwy 50 to 67 and into Bishops???

Any thoughts or ideas on those roads???

We've got a plan now -

We will be be leaving Morrison at 8:15, which will put us in Deckers @ 9:00 - 9:15, if anyone would like to meet us there.

We will gas in Woodland Park, and can meet at WP (forgive me) Starbucks @ 10:00.

Thinking 24 west, then down 9.

Sometimes when I reflect back on all the beer I drink I feel ashamed - Then I look into the glass and think about the workers in the brewery and all of their hopes and dreams. If I didn't drink this beer, they might be out of work and their dreams would be shattered. Then I say to myself, 'It is better that I drink this beer and let their dreams come true than be selfish and worry about my liver. Deep Thought, Jack Handy

Yes, something like that for the to- part.

From- will be by group decision upon departure, pending weather, fatigue, hunger, etc. etc. etc., but my opinion is to avoid I 25 as much as possible.

Well, we (me, Bick and KRJ) only made it to Canon City.  Cry

The clutch on my 999S was slipping quite a bit for some reason, so we tore it down in KRJ's garage (thanks again!  waytogo ), but couldn't find anything wrong with it.

We grabbed some messican food and headed back north.

Even though we didn't make the destination, it was a good ride.

Great day. (aside from Randimus' clutch issue - glad you made it home without further issue.)

KRJ, it was great meeting you, and I look forward to riding with you again soon.
