I go through Lucas Valley => Nicasio about once  a week.

I started seeing CHP in / around Nicasio again, even in the middle of the quiet week day.

(Years ago, they were there all the time. Sometimes, three of them in the same spot.
And then, didn't see them that much. In weekend, yes, but not in the weekday.)

Local PD traffic officer in Marin County drive around with Ka band radar on pretty much all the time.
(That makes them a little bit easier to spot them.)

CHP officers don't. They wait, and turns on radar or lidar (commonly known as laser) when they spot a (potential) speeder.

In any case, slow down when passing through the town of Nicasio.
