I know what you mean.  Is the design just too busy?  Too much going on?

I want to like the bike.  I think they have a good concept but it just doesn't come together to form a whole bike.  It's like a kit of left over parts?

I know blokes that love 'em, and I can see the attraction with the big bore triple, but I like V twins for the street. It's all personal preference. I found the small bore Street Triple buzzy and boring, so the grunty version holds much more appeal. I think it looks fine and there are many completely enamoured with the model series like we are with the Monster. They are cool bikes and the motor is a cracker.

One point though, Ducati started this style in '93, not Triumph in '94.

Blackout

I wanna ride one. The hp has been punched out to almost 150! My 05 version has about 125 or so and it's got plenty of power.
Have been thoroughly enjoying the 990 SD a helluva lot though. Haven't even ridden Speedy since I bought it.
