like to keep a little retro flavor on the s4rs tricolore project. had a buddy mock up some potential ideas, which do you all think speaks better to the bike and overall aesthetic? my buddy sent me this last one just today 5/25



2008 S4RS - Tricolore #324 (about to get bastardized)
2007 S4RS - pearl/red with some tweaks (sold)
2005 S4R - Bastarda Nera (sold)
2001 M900Sie modded to high holy hell (sold)
2001 996 Biposto - (sold)

#2 Ducati letters but instead run the stripe down the middle of the tank and tail cover. Going down the side looks a lil odd, but that's just me. or check this one out!

Number one, but quite a lot smaller/thinner and further forward.

It's just a rough mock up for now. I agree with sliding it forward but I rather like the dominant size  ;D

2008 S2R1000 black and white, mostly stock ;-)
Marving header, Velocity stacks, Pod filters, Flashed ECU to DP map, Polished valve covers and cam covers, SSR reverse shifter and inspection cover, Aelle adjustable pegs, Windscreen and cowl removal, Many plastic bits removed, Cut beer tray

Wing is too classic a style for the modern watercooled testastretta motor imo. Ah what do I know, what matters is you please yourself bro [thumbsup]

Last pic, hands down. Maybe a thinish Racing stripe on top.

yeah, just kinda want something different tho . . . owned so many monsters and all the paint looks the same to me after a while.
