Here is the problem. I have a bike with a 696 engine and I have a hypermotard 1100 swing arm. This is where the problem is. The 696 ecu thinks that the speed sensor is reading of 6 "pins" on the rotor. In this case it's not. The mono swing from the Hypermotard also the monsters has only four "pins". I understand from reading in forums that it does not actually know how many "pins" is on the rotor only the distance between them. So obviously the distance between them is different. The result is that when I now drive 70kph the instrument shows about 50ish kph.

Now comes my question. What cable should I buy to hook it to the computer. What and where do I get the software and last but not least where on the software can I change the value for the speedo and does anyone know what the value should be on Hypermotard 796/1100/ Monster 796/1100 or one of the others with a mono swing arm and continental ecu.

Speedo Healer might do it.

You'd probably need to play around a bit to get the readings you want, but both bikes seem to use the same unit.
