Ducati announced their sales for 2018. They sold 53,000 bikes world wide and it is the 4th year in a row that Ducati has sold 50,000+ bikes in year. The amazing stat is that 9700 of the total sales were Panigales either V2 or V4. The new V4 sold 6100 units. 2018 Superibke sales were an increase of 70% over 2017. Ducati Panigales account for 27% of all Superbike sales. That includes Yamahas, Hondas, Suzukis, Kawasakis, and Aprilia. One out of every superbike sold was a Panigale.
The Ducati Multistrada family sold 11, 829. The new 1260 Multistrada sold well.
Unfortunately Ducati sales were down 8% with 7843 units sold.
Italy reclaimed the most sales as 9200 bikes were sold there which was a 4.5% increase over 2017.
