821 Starting Issue

I was able to remove the cable and I think it is better.  I am still going to but the OEM battery and replace it on my next oil change.  What do you guys recommend on oil change intervals (mileage wise)?

I thrash my motor...I typically will add 3 additional qts between changes but I still only change it 9k miles....that said...early on I wasn't so aggressive and barely added oil, I would get complications changing gears...fresh oil brought it all back to normal...I'm still trying to decipher my dirty valves ...switched to shell rotella and they're still clear

At least once a year or 7500 miles, whichever comes first.  I like halving the interval.
