Is there a way to reduce the distance I need to twist my throttle from closed to wide open on a 2000 Ducati Monster 750?
Currently it seems I have to twist it way too far to get it wide open.

Thanks in advance!

Elerctraon (sp?)? If your monster is not i.e. I have no idea.

My '99 M750 came with a quick turn throttle tube which was black plastic and able to operate within the oem throttle housing. I think the vendor Motowheels had a product that looked identical iirc. Another solution is a Mikuni Quick turn competition throttle from Powerbarn which I have also used, but is only a single cable affair and may not give you a margin of safety that a return throttle does. Domino make quick action throttles with adjustable throttle cams to fine tune the level of response.

Check in first with sponsor Monsterparts to see what product they have or can supply . Our sponsors show a commitment to this community and Jeff is a staunch supporter.

None of those throttle solutions give you a quick turn = actually a shorter twist.

For that purpose we have Electraeon  [thumbsup]

I can vouch for each of those products giving a quick and short turn of 1/4 turn. The CV carbs require a long travel, so getting the throttle to work a 1/4 turn or less makes for a quick throttle action. The Domino throttle kit allows for mild to wild with three cam options. The black quick turn tube on my 750 was very quick. Your bike is carburettored, correct?

Thanks for the replies.

Yes, carb'd!  I'll look into aftermarket solutions. I thought there may have been something I messed up when I moved my twistgrip in ward a bit to make room for the mirrors.
