When I was in the Army back in the late '80's, my running buddy and I were huge into motorcycles. He was saving to buy what turned out to be an '89 ZX10, and I had my CB750 Custom (which I miss very much...) Anyway, we got every MX magazine, and I recall seeing a helmet advertisement with some sort of AC unit built into the top of it. I don't think it was a full AC unit, but some sort of smaller unit like you see on the 12v portable 'refrigerator' coolers. I never saw one in production, I seriously doubted it worked anyway.
