Hi all,

Loving my 2018 Ducati Monster 821!

I messed up last week and left the key on overnight, coming back to a dead flat battery. I put it on the charger (using the port under the seat), and two days later, everything looked back to normal - well, almost everything.

Ever since the flat battery, the DTC warning light has been constantly flashing. As usual, both the DTC and the ABS lights flash when first started, but then after setting off, the ABS light goes out, but DTC continues to flash.

I have tried resetting my riding modes to default with no luck. I also set DTC to 0, in which case the warning light just stays on constantly. Setting DTC back to default, and the light went back to flashing.

I spoke to the dealerships, which weren't much help for any debug (just bring it in...). The bike is still under warranty, and I guess there is a chance that DTC is actually broken and the flat battery was a coincidence. Anyone else suffered from a similar problem? Or anyone else with a 2018 have a flat battery and *not* have the problem?

Cheers,
            Chris.

Disconnect battery to perform a system restart (like a phone, PC, TV a.s.o.)

and/or

spin it like hell on some sand/gravel
