MM was on fire in FP1, 1.6 sec ahead of Mav in 2nd.
Tomorrow ~40% chance of rain, so anything can happen.
Sunday supposed to be OK.
Barring disaster, I think he's gonna run away.

MM 🚀
My boy gave it everything the Yammy had, but Dovi and Jack just walked him down. Some good battles in the middle of the field today.

Three runaway winners, and great battles for the podium behind.
Maverick didn't stand a chance being so down on power. The Duc boys didn't have to do anything crazy to make their passes. Just wait for the back straight...
see ya.

Jack is learning about tyre management and Dovi appears a good guy to watch regarding that. In local interviews Jack has talked about all that Ducati power being useless without traction and how he'd ride balls out like in Moto3 only to go backwards in the last half of the race. I guess the riders are required to technically manage the bikes in a way we havent seen before. Dovi is unlucky in the way top ten contenders were during Ali's era, without Marquez around he would already have a couple of Premiere class championships. Biaggi and Gibber had the same issue with Rossi.
You had to feel for Mav.
MM managed that race so comfortably. His adaptability around the bikes weaknesses while exploiting its strengths is breathtaking in the manner of a younger Rossi. Really impressive to watch.

Mav was doing well til he used up his tire.
Rins was out of control, musta left his brain in the motorhome.
Really a shame that Pol got hurt.
Aleix ridin the wheels offa that Ape.
Lorenzo squandering resources like nobody ever.
Danilo's wagon is down on the axles, all 4 wheels gone.

Ducati made a mistake extending Danilo's contract. Beyond being loyal, you already have a number one rider that can take a young guy under his wing. Having an Italian and a Aussie on the Duc is perfect harmony.

Only in the wet so far.. Magilla can win in the dry on his day, I don't know what's up with him as I expected him to be close behind Dovi most races.

But he has the potential if he’s mentored. How many race wins do you see in Petrux future?

Hard sayin'. I think both of them have potential. Dovi mentored Danilo, and he won a race, and finished in the top six up until he did win... then as Nick correctly says, the wheels have come off the wagon. It happens.
