Some people leave photochromic shield on all the time.
I swap the face shield pretty often.
Fire Orange iridium(which is used most often), Clear, and Photochromic.

Between November and March, Photochromic shield gets used quite often.
(More chance of coming back after dark. More chance of overcast weather all day.)

There are more than enough videos that are showing / explaining how quickly the tint changes,
how dark it gets, etc, on youtube already.
So, I didn’t bother taking that kind of video.

Look how quickly the lighting changes in just about two hours, in late October evening.

I came back less than 10 min. after sunset time, and it’s already too dark to ride with smoke/mirror shield.

Photochromic shield is very useful in the shoulder season.
