Yes now you can call me an old phart.  It appears that Honda is going to bring their new Honda 125 Trail to the USA in 2021.  Honda sold a lot of these type bikes back in the 1960s, 1970s, 1980s during it production run.  They came in 55, 90, and 110 CC ranges as the years passed. You would see them mounted on carriers on the front and back of pickup trucks an rvs. I am not 100% positive but the bike may have been the inspiration for the song: "Little Honda." The article says it is an effort to offer an affordable bike but Honda will want $4500 for one. The bikes cost less than 400 dollars in the late 60s and at $4500 it costs almost as a Royal Enfield Himalayan which is a heck of a lot more dirt capable and has serious globe trotter capability. 140 MPG is pretty awesome!
