The Ducati 999R is the winningest Ducati Superbike of all time.  But it was not the easiest bike to turn into a World Superbike champion bike.  See what Australian Motorcycle News had to say. As I have said before, the 999/749 are my favorite Ducati Superbikes and Troy Bayliss is my favorite Superbike rider and racer.  He was a pretty good MotoGP rider also.
