Hey DW and Maria: Thanks for the invite.  Haven't been on the DMF much these days so missed the thread but appreciated the vm.  Really sorry to have missed the  bacon and the company!  Would have loved to come but as it was, the next best thing was that we won our golf game so had to reap the winnings at Joe's Taco in Mill Valley!   Grin

Jeebuz, DQ!!! Didn't you just leave here?!!! Damn that was fast!!! laughingdp

Lots of good racing... how about Bayliss doing his best Frogger impersonation?! And there's definitely something to be said for a guy covered in wheels, railing head first down an alpine road!!

Many thanks to everyone that attended. applause Good times and good people. Thanks to DQ for bringing back that slab 'o brisket from Austin...MMMM, MMMM!!! And a special thanks goes out to Liam, for making some time to hang out with us "regular" folks... granted, the lure of Thai whiskey is hard to beat! drink waytogo

Vindingo, drop me a line some time this week when you're around, and I'll bring your bowl by.

We'll have to do another one of these again soon. But for now, I have dishes to wash. cheeky

ciao a tutti -

sorry i had "family" stuff to do, otherwise would have stayed at casa dw/m for the food, racing and peeps.

dw: your directions to the d-store were spot on.  getting there was a snap.  however, getting out of the city was not so much of a snap ... tried to get over to 4th and the 101 on-ramp ... ended up getting stuck in congested street traffic trying to get around some sort of parade/event in the soma area.

a presto,
johnc

I would just like to point out that DQ is referencing the traffic congestion johnc ran into, not my bbq. laughingdp

DW13, thanks for the invite and sorry we couldn't show up.  I was sleeping off a hangover all afternoon from the Barf poolparty.  I still don't feel 100% today.  vomit
