Monster 695 HELP
«

Howdy y’all! So I just got this 2007 monster 695 Dark and it’s stock as can be. Which I believe means it’s running lean and is real choppy down low. I’ve seen a lot of people say they got the Termi kit with the open air box DP ecu and termi pipes burst I can’t seem to find that anywhere and am wondering if anyone knows where to find that or where to find something reasonably priced to fix the lean issue and the AWFUL stock exhaust sound. Thanks!!

Discontinued
Simple plugs, like FatDuc, will help a lot with the lean condition.
Used Termignoni (I think the 695 exhaust is the same as 620, 750, 800 and maybe more...) or from a few other aftermarket manufacturers still making these.

Yes, there is.

Fatduc is a pretty straightforward and relatively inexpensive option:

It just plugs in inline, so quick to install and remove. Worked pretty well on my stock 695.
Gearing can also help some if you're still running stock. Either 1 down in the front to 14T, or 2 up in the rear.

AFAIK, all Gen1 and Gen2 exhausts are interchangeable.
So, M400, 600, 620, 695, 750, 800, 900, and S4.
Some of the OEM cans have catalytic converters, so fitting those to a carbureted bike isn't a good plan.
OEM clamp strategy has varied wildly, to an extent that one may wonder if there is a strategy.
All of the straight-through perforated core with packing style ones sound about the same to my ears.
Arrows fits the best, dunno who the worst is but Termi can do solid work in this area in spite of being an OEM supplier.
High mount cans tend to have S-bend pipes that rub on most everything they can.
They sound different as the path is longer.
You might see an improvement in power but most likely just a bit better rideability when combined with tuning and a Fatduc.
