Hey all,

So I'm lost, maybe blind as i didnt find an answer to my question. I have an open air filter with K&N, full termi exhaust, and just bought a pciii for cheap but dynojet doesnt have a single ducati map. Can anyone here point me in the right direction? Assuming maps for a multistrada 1000ds och monster 1000 from the same era with performance exhaust and open air filters would also do.

Best,
Alex

The map for another 1000DS motor with the same type of intake and exhaust mods is a start. The truth is that even a map for the exact same bike and mods is still a baseline. You may have luck and its close enough or you may have to try other maps (save each map in case). Variations in injector flow, performance parts, local fuel and engine condition affect tune . If you have access to a dyno then you can have a "ballpark" map tweaked to perfection. I have had to do this to every canned map I've tested while others have found close enough "maps" and been happy first try.

IIRC, the PC3 for an locked S2R1000 ECU only works above 4,000rpmish, so if you have poor performance at the lower RPMS, the PC3 wont help.

What you should do is instead of dealing with this fuss, get your ECU reflashed to a stock DP Performance map for about $300. It'll just be easier that way. You can also flash and do it yourself using JPDiag, the DP maps are available online, but youd have to a) want to do it yourself and b) understand enough to not brick your own ECU.

Yea, the pciii is nothing I want to keep, just a temporary solution until I get the bike to a dealership to remap the bike. I may be overly safe but with all the mods I’ve done I want to have a somewhat smooth ride to closest dealership which is 50km from here.
