Surprisingly, there's no Youtube video about Rogue RS jacket, other than the one that's made by TAD.

So I made one.
(It is, essentially simple, unlined windbreaker made out of Nyco rip stop.)

Overall, I really like mine.

In San Francisco Bay Area weather, this jacket can be used all year round.

It's not crazy expensive. (I got mine when it was on sale.)

Nyco rip stop material (hence, "RS")  is tough, you don't have to baby it.

It is functional, even though it's (probably) designed to be
"cool looking casual jacket".

(Buttoned cuffs are easy to open, and sleeves are easy to roll up.

All zippers are YKK brass, and tubs are big enough so you can operate them with gloved hands easily.

DWR will wear out eventually, but can be reapplied easily.

There aren't tons of storage space (pockets), but it will prevent
over stuffing your pockets, it will force you to minimize the gadgets
you carry around.)

A little bit about this video making ...

I shot entire sequence in S-log 2, and color graded.
(Basically, I tried to match the "look (white balance and exposure, color)" uniform all across the video.
It wasn't easy, because part of the video was shot in dark, part of it was shot in bright sunlight.
And this is my first serious S-log shooting + color grading.

I don't know if it's better (for me) to keep shooting in S-log, or use HLG, or ...

Anyway, it's a constant battle for the detail in highlight and shadows.

I like the "shadow" effect on this shot
