possible to swap out external brake reservoirs without bleeding system?

Hi, as the title states is this possible? I mean, pinch off the little hose, empty the original reservoir, disconnect the hose at the original reservoir, mount new reservoir, connect hose to new reservoir, pour the fluid into the new reservoir, done.

Does this process appear sound? I got some replacement Brembo pee cups in the newer smoked clear and I want to swap 'em out with no drama.  Thx

... yes you can do it: but will you introduce air into the master hand break cylinder?

...  with the cap off, try gently flicking the break lever, ever so slightly, pull in then let go, after connecting everything; infract do this before and see if any tiny bubbles appear in the reservoir, and after ... post back findings.

... and although bleeding breaks properly seems a pain; fresh fluid is a good thing.

If the ports in the master are covered in fluid air will not be introduced.

I agree, it' a good thing but the reason I enquired about doing it without bleeding the system is that I had already had the fluid replaced with new very recently and have only ridden the bike once. I'd prefer to avoid the unnecessary work & expense of bleeding it again.
