So what's your favorite Ducati exhaust? Mine is the "Mating Snakes" exhaust, introduced on the 2012 Monster. Also affectionately referred to as the "Ram Horn" exhaust. But there are many others.

What's yours?

Staintune went out of business??
They were for sale, but closed as they couldn't get a buyer and faced liquidation. At a minute to midnight a buyer appeared!

Yeah they look like they mean business.  [thumbsup]

I like the hi rise Superlight Termi exhaust and the old style Termi round, low pipes on early Monsters. I'm also quite partial to the serpent pipes and twin Termis on My Evo, but I also wish I didn't have to remove them to change the belts!

Well.... I'm a sucker for the Termi full system on the pre-EVO M1100 monsters.  Love that fat vertical pipe before it divides out into 2 again under the seat.

But then I would say that, wouldn't I.

... I love how the front cylinder pipe follows the form of the engine underneath.....

I love how it completely obstructs access to the oil drain plug - when 5mm to the right would've allowed access without having to remove the front header every time you want to dump the oil... FFS  [bang] [laugh]

ok Mr ungeheuer....  Your Monster, I'm guessing a 2009 or2010,  is what inspired me to buy my 2012 Evo. Keep the faith!  By the way, I love trying to spell your last name (but I'm a nerd that way, much like motorcycle exhausts). No worries, I've been called worse.

It's Italian. We expect this kind of service.

Oh and I love the Termies on my Sie.

So...

Here are the final rankings, based on a scientific survey:

1) The "Mating Snakes", introduced on the 2012 Monster, takes the top ranking.
2) The Termi full system on the pre-Evo 1100 Monsters comes in at a strong 2nd.
3) Comments on the custom exhausts are greatly appreciated, but somewhat out of the scope of this Ducati-centric indulgence.

Cheers!
