I know I may be on of the oldest pharts here but I just found out that Malcolm Smith Motorsports is now a Ducati dealership in Riverside, California. There are probably some younglings on this forum who do not know who Malcolm Smith is.  Yes he sells dirt bike gear which is name on it. But Malcolm is one of the best off road riders on a motorcycle. He won the Baja on Husqvarna motorcycles, he won Gold Medals in the International Six Day Trials now called International Six Day Enduro.  He won countless off road races all across the United States but mostly in the deserts of California and Nevada. Perhaps he is best know for being one of three motorcycle racers that were featured in the movie: "On Any Sunday."  If you haven't see it you need to. The other two riders were AMA Champion Mert Lawill and "The King of Cool" Steve McQueen.

Malcolm is getting on in age as you can tell.  His son Alexander is in the pictures and he looks just like his dad. Take a look at the size of Malcom's hands.  Holy Cow those are huge hands! He won lots of races with bikes that had 6.5 inches of travel in front and four in the rear. You needed hands like that to ride those bikes. If you watch "On Any Sunday" you will be in for a treat watching Malcolm ride.
