Cleaning ur bike

So I've tried alot of different products and I'm pretty sure I've found the two that I'll use forever.
#1 Next Dimension spray and polish (for all painted surfaces, waterless ), just spray and wipe this stuff is amazing
#2 Simple green, for the wheels and some engine pieces, first wet wheels to get excess brake dust off, then spray directly on, then use a kitchen long handle brush and WHAMMO!, rinse and wheels looky like dis.

Not sure what SimpleGreen would do to paint. Guess you can be our guinea pig

lol, yeah all i know is it works really well, i used another off brand from kragen and it discolored the paint so I had to buff it out, simple green no discoloration, and if it does, I might just paint em black    Thanks, you coming out with us tomorrow?  Marina starbucks off chestnut street, Vindingo, me, +??

Wish I could, but I've got a ton of things to do. I'd love to test out the new ASV shorty levers BikerGoddess got me. But way too much to get done.

Careful w/ simple green and aluminum..i heard they should never mix.  This is right off the simple green site

Simple Green All-Purpose Cleaner, Crystal Simple Green® Cleaner/Degreaser, Simple Green Pressure Washer Concentrates, and Pro Series™ Simple Green® Automotive Cleaner have been used on aircraft, automotive, industrial and consumer aluminum items for over 20 years. However, caution and common sense must be used: aluminum is a soft metal that easily corrodes with unprotected exposure to water. The aqueous-base and alkalinity of Simple Green All-Purpose Cleaner can accelerate the corrosion process. Therefore, contact times for unprotected or unpainted aluminum surfaces should be kept as brief as the job will allow - never for more than 10 minutes. Large cleaning jobs should be conducted in smaller-area stages to achieve lower contact time. Rinsing after cleaning should always be extremely thorough - paying special attention to flush out cracks and crevices to remove all Simple Green® product residues. Unfinished, uncoated or unpainted aluminum cleaned with Simple Green products should receive some sort of protectant after cleaning to prevent oxidation.

Your wheels are painted on the outside but water drains through he center and can pool up in multiple places..just be careful..that is all

Good research, guess I need to be realllly careful w/ the stuff.  I don't leave it on long, and I do rinse the wheels w/ water before I scrub out the crud.

Never washing your bike will also help prevent accelerated corrosion from harsh cleansers.

I use simple green on the car & bike all the time. No prob with the paint.

When I used to get stuck washing the C-130 we tried all kinds of stuff before they started ordering Simple green by the 55 gallon drum. Wish I had one of those 55 gallon drums now.
Anyway it didn't seem to hurt the aircraft which was mostly made from aluminum.
