1000 World Superbike Podiums and Photos from Czech Superbike race

Since World Superbike began a Ducati rider has been on the Podium 1000 times.  On Saturday Alvaro Bautista won race one going away in the Czech Republic and while he finished in third in the 10 lap sprint and Second in the Second 20 + lap race he still holds a 35 and 38 point advantage over Jonathan Rea and Toprak Razgatliogolu, the defending World Superbike Champion.World Superbike will be on a hiatus until September for European vacation.  The racing has been great with lots of passing among the three top riders. In the first 20 + lap race four different bikes filled the top four spots. There was a Ducati in first, a Yamaha in second, a BMW in third, and a Kawasaki in 4th. Followed by a privateer Ducati in 5th and also top independent rider.

Lots of great names and great riders in those 1000 podiums.
