I think the comparison the author used in this article comparing your children to comparing a 999 following a 916 is pretty spot on. I think the 999/749 got a lot of undeserved complaints during its run. There is no way it would ever be as beautiful as a 996/998. The 916/996/998 still looks every bit as good today as it did when it came out. The 999 looked lit came from the future and it still looks contemporary. It still looks ahead of its time. My 749 Dark looks just as stealthy and lethal as a F117 Stealth Bomber.
