Today, 21 February, marks the end of Preseason Testing for World Superbike. Today Alvaro Bautista on the Ducati Panigale was the fastest rider over the last two days. Michael Reuben Rinaldi on the other Ducati Panigale was third fastest. Not only was Bautista fastest but he was able to concentrate on race setup. This weeks preseason testing was held at Phillip Island in Australia. Phillip Island is also where World Superbike begins its season. Phillip Island is probably the most scenic and best race course on the calendar. In addition to a challenging course riders have to contend with geese and seagulls. Watch for Phillip Oeltl on the Go Eleven Ducati, Danillo Petrucci on the Barni Ducati, and Axle Bassani on the Motocorsa Ducati as well. In World Supersport the Panigale V2 is competitive. Keep and eye on Oli Bayliss son of Three Time World Superbike Champion Troy Bayliss. Let the racing begin! Bring it on.
