«

Does anybody know the M size & thread pitch of the clutch basket bolts and spring retainer screws? I'd like to source some titanium replacements. Thanks

Quixotic! Likely. I've been slowly replacing all fasteners with Ti. Why? Dunno! I'm married to this bike. Might stick with stock on the grade 8 basket bolts vs Ti. But the spring retainer screws which are M5x20 will be replaced.

Okay. Why? Nate gave me a cryptic reply, and you were a bit clearer but never gave a reason.
I require clarity. Thanks.

Total waste of money. Though I can't quote weight saving numbers it would be insignificant. Aesthetics? I doubt anyone would notice. Stainless solves the rust problem. Possible metallurgy problems and sourcing? Solved and time tested by krista.

Makes perfect sense and I've come to my senses.
