09 1100s generator cover

Ok, after a month of dealing with Ducati USA, still keep sending me a cover for a 796 hypermotard. Different color, extra bolt holes, and a lot of difference between the 2 covers. Pulling my hair out, need help
07-08 multistrada 1100s used same cover, just different color. So many superseded numbers, easy for one to get lost.
Does anyone know a way to contact Ducati Italy directly so I can get right cover, unless someone has a spare on hand

Looks like Ducati consolidated the various generator side cases... with now one part number:  24221201AD

Replacing all these part numbers: 24220771AD, 24220771CD, 24221021AD, 24221021CD

The factory website ducati.com (not US-editition) has a contact us form and they DO reply. 9 out of 10 times it's the provocative "contact your dealer" reply. I write "DO NOT TELL ME TO CONTACT MY DEALER. THEY CAN'T HELP"

I know, ordered the right part number, they sent a 24230511c and that's off a 2011, Ducati us said it was right part number. Wrong color, doesn't even resemble original part.
