YouTube free movies info 2025

Rather than creating a new thread every time I find a “movies I like”. Or “movies worth watching, especially if it's free” on YouTube,
I just decided to post the info here.

Now, quite a bit of the movies I post here are rated “R”, which, YouTUbe doesn't allow to play outside of their platform.
(Basically R rated films require age verification. You can just click on the blank YouTube image, you can open that movie in YouTUbe page.

Start with These two.

“Jiro dreams of sushi”  2012 film. Independent documentary film

Yup. It's already more than 10 years ago.
Naturally, audio is all Japanese (with English subtitle).
It is interesting that the film was NOT produced by Japanese people.

"American Gangster" 2007 Ridley Scott film Rated R

If you haven't watched yet, just watch.

To me personally, this is the most memorable scene.

No. It's not Browning Hi-Power.
And this point blank fire (literally the muzzle was on the actor's forehead) was “safely” done.
(Although, due to the circumstances, there will be less and less blank fire scene like this. (Do It in the post digitally is much safer, easier.)

…to be continued

My all time favorite,

“HEAT” 1995 Michael Mann film

“A guy told me one time, do not let yourself get attached to anything you are not willing to walk out on in 30 seconds flat if you feel the heat around the corner”.
Probably, my favorite line in the film, ever.

And, another Michael Mann film,

“MIAMI VICE (2005)”

#2
Serpico

One of my favorite Al Pacino films.
Unfortunately it's been edited. But, still a great movie to watch, after all these years.
This was in the early 1970s. NYPD did not allow officers to carry .357 Magnum, they were restricted to .38 special.
Serpico buys Browning Hi-Power because he cannot expect back up from fellow officers (and his job / mission is getting more and more dangerous )
(In case you don't know the story yet, I'd stop here.)

Die Hard

I like the first one. I don't like the second one. (Created by different people.)

Do you remember that scene above?
Did you catch how McClane  fooled Hans?
The film clearly showed it, actually.

The hint:
John McClane is “left handed”.
That M92F used by McClane has “one” non standard feature.

Can you tell?

The extended slide release lever.

Go on, watch the movie. See how John handled the situation.

BTW, that M92F was exactly the same prop as used in “Lethal Weapon (&2)”.

Incidentally, NYPD never authorized M92F, for the officers to carry.
