Carpal Tunnel.. How long did it take you to heal?

 Anyone go through the surgery and how long did it take to heal? It will be my right hand which regardless will kind of stink as I've been an Industrial chiller tech and BAS operator for the last few decades, It's getting to the point where its more than a problem. I was planning on having it done in the fall after I get my Motos put away till spring but still don't have any clue as to how I'll be afterwards- I'm not too worried though as it can't be as bad as my spinal fusion in my C spine. That Surgery made it difficult to ride my 1199 but I can still comfortably handle the 848 Evo, If I can survive and overcome that I'm pretty sure I can overcome the hand surgery. Essentially how long till the pain goes away and any after affects such as numbness, loss of strength, articulation?

Had it done years ago when I broke my left wrist. More recently had it done to my right wrist and it healed up easily. Glad I had it done.

Thanks! I was really worried about the ability to operate the brake lever but it sounds like it isn't anything to worry about which puts my apprehension to rest. Work wise, I will probably be stuck watching temps on the server racks and finding the end of the internet for a bit.
