Yeah, got the next four days OFF, hopefully the weather cooperates, have some side work to do but I am riding no matter what. Prolly taking the KZ to Pueblo tomorrow around noon,  just to see how it acts after some changes, should give Me a bit of input. Am kinda holding off on the MTS till I get some work done on it. If Anyone is up for a ride, please give a hollar, as I am ready to start this season  [moto] Oh well gotta crash out for Tonite, Laters....

Sooooo....I am still plannning to watch the WSBK tomorrow.  Looks like SPEED channel will show Race 1 at 3PM and Race 2 at 4PM.  I have got to sleep in tomorrow after the last 6 days of 3AM start time at work.  I would be up for some riding in the afternoon before the race.  If anyone is interested, let me know.  We can find a sports bar that is showing the race or we can come back to my place.  I'll check in after I get up tomorrow.  Oops, I probably should check the weather to see if what's in store.

I will be at Montague's at 11:30 if anyone wants to join me for a ride.  Open to destination.  I was thinking that if it is just me I will head down to Canon City or do a run up the pass.  Pretty original, huh?  Just want to stretch the Paladin's legs since he hasn't been out much over the winter.   [moto]

Bishop's Castle is a cool ride, not sure what the roads will be like up there this early in the season, could encounter rocks and gravel on the roads? anyone been up there yet this year?

Yes, I rode to Bishop's Castle on March 19 with a bunch of other sportbikers.  The roads were gravelly in the sharper curves and at the intersections.  Otherwise, it was mostly clear except for one or two fist-sized rocks here and there when we rode by rockwalls.  Oh, and the wind was an issue that day as it pushed everyone around when leaning.

One in our group went down one the way out: the stop at the T-intersection at the end of CO165 with CO96 had lots of gravel and she slide into the road.

If my foot wasn't injured, I'd most likely be joining up with you to Bishop's or my usual group that's heading up to Deckers tomorrow.

My suggestion is to go at a moderate pace and take your time in the curves.  It'll be a beautiful day!!

Made a run down to Bishop's Castle. It was a good ride, managed to beat the rain and kept her upright  waytogo Hit some sand 2 corners from castle and the back end tried to come around on me. There was 3 cars up there, saw no other riders except on Hwy 115.

Would be glad to meet up during the week after work for a  coffee or even a  drink just let me know.

Good job, Mike!  Sounds like it was a lot of fun.  I will keep an eye on the board if you guys decided to meet.  I'd love to drop in.  I work at 8PM everyday this week so if I can make a quick stop on the way, I will.
