I said, "Seriously?"  I thought he was joking.

Then I said yes.

I can't remember if I actually said "yes" or not.  We were playing Scrabble and he arranged the tiles to say, "Will you marry me" when I got up from our game to use the bathroom...when I got back I didn't even notice it at first, then I accused him of cheating, then I realized that he was serious when he got one one knee, then I really knew he was serious when I actually saw the ring.   I think I just cried.  The coolest part was we got chinese that night and both fortune cookies had the same fortune in them...."You and your wife will live a happy life together"!!!

if she's lying to me about something that's so important to her, then do i really want to marry her? what else will she hide from me/lie to me about?

besides, if i get married then that shuts down all the possible treaties with other nations. i have to stay single for my country
