This thing sounds broken...

« on: August 02, 2008, 11:25:26 PM »

So tomorrow (or today, depending on when you read this), is the San Francisco Marathon. bang head It starts at 5:30am, from the Ferry Bldg, and creates a 26.2 mile course through our oh so huge city... a city that's only 7 miles x 7 miles. It also goes across the Golden Gate Bridge, with a full lane closed in each direction for the runners. bang head bang head

More info here:  http://www.runsfm.com/home.html

The lovely traffic snarl info can be found here: http://www.runsfm.com/race/traffic.html

If you had plans on getting out for a ride, you may want to reconsider. And if you do manage to get out of the city, go ahead and add a few dozen miles to your route.

Traffic's gonna be hell, at best. bang head bang head bang head

You do not count. You are known for running over people.

Well, take a look at the route map and tune to 740AM. They do traffic reports every 10 minutes.

Most of the time I've noticed its just an elegant weave through the crowds. I'm trying to get that rhythm down.

I ran it, sorry for any snarl, but trust me you had more fun riding than I did running it.  Cool
