I'm a new Ducati rider from Charlotte, North Carolina.
My current rides are a '07 Monster S4RS and a Yamaha Zuma.  Learned to ride on the Zuma  before moving up to the next level Wink

Really, I've been riding nearly twenty years, some times more often than others. I'm now returning to the street after spending most of my time on the track racing/trackdays for the past 4 years.
Currently, I'm looking for some twisty, secluded roads around my area or towards the mountains. Nothing with too much traffic or popularity. Also I plan to do some track days starting this fall, if time permits.

By the way, I really like this forum! Please don't change the format or junk it up with tons of ads, etc. Already, I've found more and better info here than in any of the other Ducati forums I've visited.

Welcome, glad you are enjoying yourself here. Smiley waytogo

Good luck finding those great roads. [moto]  Were you tracking the S4RS?

JBubble, what's a MROC? I may have to take you up on that offer to ride. I had a group of folks wanting to head that way, but they keep dropping out on me. Was planning on going up 74 by Lake Lure or head north towards Blowing Rock and the BRP.

msincredible, No, I've not had the S4 on the track yet. Once I get more familiar with it and have the time, I may do some trackdays this fall. About 95% my time on track was spent on SV650's. I just recently sold the racebike and spending more time on the street these days.

Hey smooth, if you look on the left side of the webpage you'll see a bunch of links. Go down to the bottom where it says Local Clubs then click on Listing. Scroll through until you see MROC (Monster Riders of the Carolinas). Most of the guys are up in the Raleigh Durham area but me, DucPete, and several others are in Charlotte.

We also have a bike night at Mac's on South Blvd. A lot of guys from the local Ducati shop are there plus a ton of Ducs. Mostly some sweet superbikes but there's monsters too. Bike nights are the second Tuesday of every month so this coming Tuesday we'll all be there.
