look into the 99-01 yamaha r1/r6 tail light.

pic of the aftermarket clear version, but several companies make them, and you can get them in several colors, and lots of them have the integrated blinkers.

Ordered up a couple of these... Bright as hell, and they were able to send me a pair without chrome. Working on a custom tailpiece to hold them. In production now, but will be about a month or so before I can photo them on the bike. Will post then.

This would be really cool with the base blacked out.  Could it fit on a monsters ass?

anything can fit, but thats up to you.  im sure its possible to just paint the base black, but on the r1 and r6, the only part that shows is the two circles.  they have a tail section that is solid.

There is a translation button on their site. Or you could just call them?

How about this, the Motrax LED Eye

If you need to find one in the US try calling Cycle Gear or stopping by your local Cycle Gear shop.  They may not list it on their website.  I wanted a Motrax Foxtail and although they didn't have it on their website they got it from another store in a few days and for a really good price.

This's a shitty pic, but it's all I have.

These were the taillights on my old S4.

They're actually halogen cruiser turn signal lights.

They're the Shorty model made by a company called Lazer Star.

They're billet aluminum and come in chrome, black anodized, and a few other options I think.

They're not cheap though.  Around a couple hundred dollars a set if I remember correctly.

I've been thinking about this too...

I friend gave me a LED taillight assembly off a 748 and I've been sitting in my garage for the last two nights trying to figure out if it would look good or not. I really want to make it work -- but I've tried a whole bunch of differnt options and they all look like shit.. .. ..
