I worry about kids these days.

I passed two 9-10ish yr old boys while I was out around lunch time on the monster.  one of these youths, when he sees me headed their way, starts to do the "beep your air-horn" arm pump.  His friend glances at him and then proceeds to mimic him.  Confused, I did nothing.

A couple scenarios occured to me.

1- They wanted me to beep my horn.
Conclusion: They're stupid.  The air-horn arm pump should only ever be directed at a rig.  Meeping at them with my Road Runner sounding horn would have embarassed all three of us.

2- They wanted me to do a wheelie.
Conclusion: They're stupid.  The air-horn arm pump would in no way convey the idea that they expected such a display.

This answer is the correct one.

I probably would have waved, though.

You should have a done a one handed wheelie, while doing the airhorn pump.  ;D

He passed two kids at lunch, they made a gesture at him, and he obsessed over it for the rest of the day. . .

they obviously didn't know exactly what hand sign to show a motorcyclist.

when they air pumped you, you should of thrown the shocker back. then they could go show their friends the cool new hand sign they learned

They sound like pretty stupid kids though. Next time you see them chase them down the sidewalk honking and wheelying.

Wait you have an actual road runner horn? Or do you mean the sound?
The old Roadrunners use to actually have the MEEP MEEP as the horn and it was freaking AWESOME. Awesome car.

Or you could always hit the skids, pull up and then slowly edge backwards away from them, chuck a U turn and speed away as fast as you can, that'll screw with there heads!

Let them obsess over it for the rest of the day!!  [cheeky]

Or.....You could just Flip them off.  [thumbsup]
