I sent the info out to MAD so I figure most folks know. But just in case

Colemans FC will be hosting a DucTruck full for motards starting on the 8 and running through the 10th - so 3 days.

When I was talking with Greg in parts today, he told me I should throw my gear in the truck before I head over. I was soooooo tempted, but I couldn't take that much time at lunch. I basically had to grab my parts and run.

Did he remind you to put you elevator platform boots with your stuff? Seats kinda tall on those bikes... and um, well yah see

I wouldn't want to ride a heavy tall bike, but these are hardly what you'd call porky.

The Hypermotard and the Multistrada are definately not for how shall we say the vertically challenged,

. I took a demo ride on a Hyper at Ducpond a while back, cool bike but not very practical, gas tank is too small.

Yep. I went, Scott A was with me most of the morning also. Walt was there.. and some other folks I didn't recognize at all. But hardly anyone came by. For a while it was me, Walt and the staff shooting the shit. The ups

They had 12 bikes. 6 'normal' and 6 S variants. The S bikes had a variety of DP goodies on them which differed from bike to bike. Both flavor of DP exhaust, steering dampers, different seats etc.1

The DucPond route was much better - but what can you do, it's Falls Church. Got a good run at a couple esses going from Spout Run onto the GWP, but that's about all they could offer for that route. hard to show off what that bike can do and the DC megalopolis.

They also had the Arlen Ness Motard and (more impressive to me) bike 555, that won it's class at Pikes Peak this year - still all crusted with dirt from the climb.

It was well run, but it was pretty quiet.. so there wasn't any chaos to show any flaws. Gotta love the Ducati hospitality, food water, cappuccino, biscotto, candy, talbes and chairs for relaxing. I stopped by the HD demo truck earlier that day... def no cappuccino and a biscotti for my efforts to be had there.

It's a shame, I could put together a nice little route from the shop which would be much more fun. If anyone is going to VIR this weekend, they will also be there, no idea what type of route they are doing down there. - Gene
