S4RS Wheels on an S2R/S4R?

Subject line says it all -- is there any issue with installation or fitment of S4RS wheels on an S2R/S4R?  I've heard the rotors may be a different bolt pattern / offset.

Thanks!  [thumbsup]

Bringing this back from the dead ... Any input about S4RS wheels on an S4R?  I may be getting a set of S4RS wheels  + rotors and was curious about fitment ... Thanks!  [thumbsup]

The rear wheel should be a direct bolt on since the swingarm and hub are the same.

For the front wheel, see if the OEM brake rotor- or axle part numbers match, maybe that would tell you about spacing.

You would think I would remember all this having sold a set some time back but.... All I CAN remember is that if you have a bike with 6 bolt rotors vs the 5 bolt of the RS, the offset is different, pretty sure.

I'm not totally useless, I can be used as a bad example!

Yeah, my S4R has a 6-bolt pattern for the front rotors.

You will need new rotors.  The S4R has 6 bolt rotors and the S4Rs has 5 bolt rotors and the offset is different between the two so you can't just take the rotors from the S4Rs.

I ran into this when I thought about upgrading my S4R to an S4Rs and realized I wouldn't easily be able to swap my BSTs and Brake Tech rotors.
