You know the old saying: There's only 10 kinds of people in the world.  Those that know binary, and those that don't.   Cool

Is there a point to that?

Geek or Greek? Why do either have their own language?!?

So... I'm a geek.  And while I didn't know the answer, I googled the answer.
But first, let me say, the title instantly made me think this was a thread about NIN playing at AAC on Aug 18th.  "bow down before the one you serve..."

Anyway, here's my guesses regarding the geeklation of McKraut's message:

"FTW"
Acronym:  For The Win

Commonly used among geeks to express their enthusiasm for something, especially in IRC.
a) Cola is best
b) nope, Pepsi is way better
a) Cola FTW!

or...

"FTW"
text-speak with several translations. Most famously "F*CK THE WORLD!!!" Used in a very upbeat manner, FTW is not a negative or condemning phrase. Users often fist-pump while shouting this life-affirming three-word prediction.

Based on the OP, I'm leaning more towards the second translation.

Same point as Bacon does on forums, it's something that just sticks and becomes fused into the common fold.

FTW is indeed "For the Win" or ...is better
