Author Topic: Can't unscrew headlight!  (Read 1046 times)

I got the CF headlight brackets from Monsterparts. I managed to expose the headlight and unscrew the metal (stock bracket) from the handlebar/fork. However, the hexscrew that holds it to the bracket won't come off. I'm afraid the direction might be inverted like the mirrors, but it just won't budge. I'd like input from someone here before making it worse. Thanks!

I don't understand. ^^^

All of the headlight bracket, and U bracket hardware are standard thread direction.

it'll be easier to remove the headlight from the bracket if everything is still mounted on the bike.

they're standard RH thds, too, so it's nothing special  waytogo

Done! Standard. Idiots at the shop screwed it on so tight I almost broke my wrist, but a good lean did the job.  applause
