Wow.....I just found this thread! My name is Shon and I live in Norfolk. I ride a Black w/ Red 2007 695 Monster. I've had it a year this month...I love the bike, and can't find nearly enough time to ride. I hope to go on one of the rides i've been reading about.
Hope to hear from you all

Shon, welcome.
We've got a meet 'n' ride set for Sunday with the 757-sportbikes group (see previous page) and you'd be welcome.
Do you live in Ingleside? I keep seeing a black/red monster in my neighborhood, and I can never track him down. Is that you?

Jeff,
That is me, I do live in Ingleside! As of today i'm planning on Sunday, but need to make sure my bases are covered. I sent you an e-mail, and would like a little more info.

Got it Shon, reply should be in your inbox.
The 757-sportbike group is planning a meet 'n' ride for Saturday and Sunday. They'll be meeting at noon at the WAWA at the corner of Independence Blvd and Holland Rd. both days, then riding around VA Beach for a couple of hours. I suggest that we meet up there on Sunday, see what they're about, and ride with them. If they're a bunch of immature squids, and dangerous, we can peel off, and go our own way, but this could be a good way to increase our network, and find some people who share our interests.
And have some fun.

Welcome Shon...I hope that I can make it out there with you this Sunday guys. I am having some issues with my bike and I am going to try and get it done Saturday but who knows. It seems that I may have some issues with fuel delivery. We'll see.

I could probably use your help Jeff as I am not the most mechanically inclined (Gas goes where?!). When are you available?

I'm in for Sunday.
Kris, Good luck with the bike. If there is anything I can do to help, let me know. Though you might want to wait until I get my wrenching Mojo back.

Good to hear you are back on the road. It was as easy as a bottle of Techron? That has to be the cheapest Ducati repair ever. Jeff - Where are you hiding that valve adjustment in a bottle?

Don't go trying to schedule service here, buddy!
I work on houses, not bikes.
I backed a longshot and it worked. Guess I should have played the lottery that day, huh?
See y'all at the WAWA tomorrow.
