Sorry, fishing tomorrow. Don't think I can ride today, fish tomorrow and ride again in the afternoon.
Had a good time on the ride and breakfast this morning. Wasn't paying attention on the way home, missed a turn and ended up on the wrong side of the river. Ended up taking the highway back from Williamsburg. If the weather isn't too cold next month we should get some more people out there. The route is pretty decent, though a little longer than expected. A ton of bikes there (~75 maybe), supposedly more during the summer. Good mix of bikes too. Will, thanks for bringing this ride up, I'll definitely ride up there again. Saw a few Ducati's too. ST, 848, 998, and one monster.
Good to meet you Dave, I'll try to stick a couple of bugs into some ears this month around here and see if we can't have a Monster reception next time.

Looks like I'm ditching work to go riding tomorrow. The boy toy heard that there are twisties up by Richmond near the river. Any suggestions?
By the way, the Richmond thread sucks. Do they actually ride up there??

I wouldn't call them twisties, but sections of Rt 5 and 10 up towards richmond that I rode on sunday were good. Be careful through towns, saw lots of
.
Talked briefly with bdfinally at Poe's. So there is at least one monster rider alive and well in Richmond. If you send him a PM he might have some suggestions for roads.

Will, I almost forgot, give your chopper buddies a
. I almost didn't even look at them until you reccomended it. When I got up close I was impressed. They were very well done. Even though choppers aren't my thing, I can definately appreciate the effort and craftsmanship that were put into the bikes. They weren't the "American Chopper" style either. They looked homegrown, the way they should be.

I did about 300 miles Saturday, but it was mostly getting to and from your neck of woods. Did the "Rumble through the Tunnels"

I would avoid a speedo and stick with normal swim trunks

Anybody riding this weekend? I've got two estimates(at opposite ends of the southside, of course.) set up for Saturday, but Sundays open.
In fact, I may ride to the estimates, weather permitting. Think I'd lose the work if I pull up on the monster?
